Desert Safari in Dubai
Activities in Desert Safari
The
metropolis of Dubai is built near the desert. To explore the dunes, you can
take a guided tour in the morning, afternoon, or two days or more (overnight in
the desert). As far as we are concerned, we participated in what seemed to be
the most classic activity: dinner at the Bedouin camp at the end of the day and
a 4x4 safari.
Desert Safari Tour Detail
We were only
2 years old in Dubai Desert Safari, so we shared our SUV with other tourists.
The driver's guide (very good) found us at our hotel and we drove for 30
minutes to the desert (Dubai has very heavy traffic).

Arriving in
the desert, the driver lowers the wheels a little (for better grip on the
sand), and then has fun, accelerating and making his way through the dunes. To
be honest, he is very funny and moves very well! In any case, this is an unfamiliar
feeling, because we are not used to driving like this in everyday life (unless
we have a lot of sand on the road and we are not afraid of losing what is
allowed ...). And, if you don’t like it, don’t worry, the driver asks us all
the time if we want to take a hard road to make sure it suits everyone. Small
shadows on wooden planks: cars still follow each other, we don't always feel
like we are in the wild.
Before joining the camp, we made two stops in the desert for 10-15 minutes. The first offers a beautiful view of the sand dunes, and the second - a small camel farm (more precisely, a large aviary.
At the first
stop, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Dubai desert. Once you enter the
camp the dunes become less beautiful and colorful (sometimes covered with very
little vegetation), if you climb to the top of the dunes (Dubai is still Dubai
...) you will see a road. ... If you want to take beautiful photos and
beautiful panoramas in this safari park, stop at the first stop and stay away
from other visitors. You must be able to take great photos.
After
entering the camp, replace the 4x4 Safari park with a free zone! The camp is
described as a Bedouin camp, but it is clear that this is only a tourist camp
for the event. We don't have much expectations for a real Dubai, so there are
no surprises or real disappointments in this regard. We arrived at the camp
first (later other vehicles with other passengers also arrived) and we were
able to enjoy the activity on the spot.
The atmosphere of the camp is really good! Although there are not many people here, we really like this place and we will not be bored even for a second. We did a (very) small camel tour and did a lot of skateboarding. In fact, it is similar to a snowboard, the difference is that you use the snowboard in the sand instead of in the snow! This is a primitive sport, very tiring (no chair lift...), but very interesting.
Don't panic
about the event, everyone has it! Most hikers start with the camel (the first
visible action), create repeating lines while skiing, and so on. In our case,
we went straight to the skateboard (there was only one passenger) and then
returned to the camel where no one had left. Therefore, it is best to start
with the activities provided within the camp and end outside the camp.
After seeing
the sunset in the Dubai desert, we drank some drinks, we were ready to leave
the camp and better enjoy this moment. After that, we calmly walked around the
camp, smoked hookahs, talked with other travelers, etc.
In terms of food, this is a barbecue dinner that everyone can enjoy, and the food varies. Various vegetables and starchy foods are also provided, so there is no problem with vegetarian or halal food (please remember that we are in a Muslim country). Then, people can sit between pillows and set up a tent on the ground around the small table. Quite comfortable and beautiful! There were several performances during the meal, especially belly dance performances, but we did not attract much attention.
Desert
Safari is a very popular activity in Dubai, but with good introspection, you
can easily avoid the crowds. When the buffet is offered, 80% of the people line
up
And everyone
will do it. It is best to take a walk first to enjoy the night view, and then
use it for 10-15 minutes.
In the evening,
we turned to the opposite direction and got off at the hotel. What we learned
from Dubai Safari Park is freedom and various activities that can be carried
out in the camp. We can fully enjoy the scenery of the desert, but we still
remember that tonight is very good under the stars. Of course, this is a
tourist activity, but obviously you can have fun in your own way. During the
whole tour, no one asked us to do anything. We don't like organizing walks very
much, so we like this aspect very much.

Positivity about Tour:
We can see
the sunset in the desert
There are
many feelings of sliding 4×4 on the sand dunes.
In the
middle of the desert, the scenery can be guaranteed to change.
There are
many activities in the camp, you will not be bored.
The atmosphere
at night is really good
The food is
delicious (without exception)
For this
event-
The camp is
mainly a tourist attraction that attracts a large number of tourists.
We saw more beautiful deserts
Our general
opinion: If you stay in Dubai for a few days, it's a shame not to explore the
desert! The mechanic has a lot of lubrication, he has a lot of work to do, and
he has no time to be bored. But please note that the desert of Dubai is not the
most beautiful desert in the Middle East... If you enjoy the beautiful scenery
in this safari park, you may be a little disappointed. It's best to think of
this outing as an opportunity to spend a good evening in an environment that is
still very different from what we have found here.
